Directly across River Road from the convention center is a small cluster of hotels. Each hotel has one or more places to eat inside, as well, for those who do not wish to venture far from their hotel.

Next to the Allstate Arena (which will forever be the Rosemont Horizon to some of us), there is a small shopping center with a great variety of food joints to choose from. There are also a couple of spots across from the Arena as well.

Fashion Outlets of Chicago

Fashion Outlets of Chicago is a large outlet mall situated along I-294 at Balmoral. With two stories of stores and restaurants, there are plenty of options both in the food court and scattered through the building.

Parkway Bank Park

Parkway Bank Park is an entertainment area located between Bryn Mawr and Balmoral, behind the Doubletree, Embassy Suites, and Hilton hotels and next to I-294. It is full of restaurants, with some entertainment venues, and an area that is covered in artificial grass in the summer, then becomes a skating rink in winter. 

Fogo de Chao

A Brazillian steakhouse where they stuff you full of meat until you swear off eating for a week, Fogo de Chao is located in Parkway Bank Park in Rosemont.
