My review:
We dined at Carmine’s for an anniversary dinner and it was excellent. The restaurant was busy, most of the tables were full by the time we left, but it never got super loud. The decor was simple but classy, dark wood and semi-modern decor throughout. The dishes were excellent, I had the special soup of the day (crab bisque) and lobster ravioli and both dishes were amazing. The waiter was great about checking a couple menu items I was thinking of ordering to find out if any had onions (which did change my original plan of having risotto). He was also happy to make suggestions on other menu items I could eat. Our waiter was very attentive and I noticed other waiters seemed to be the same. The menu is a bit on the pricier side, but they do not skimp on portions. My mother’s pasta was nearly enough for three meals! My ravioli order included five ravioli but I was only able to polish off three, especially after the generous size of my crab bisque, so I had enough for lunch later. Definitely would recommend this place for a special occasion or a nice date night.
